365 days of holding hope.

365 days of holding space.

365 days of having determination.

365 days of having confidence.

365 days of being humbled.

365 days of doing it anyway.

365 days of being a coach, mentor, and guide.

365 days of having a business.

When I set out on this journey of digital entrepreneurship I did not have a clue of what to expect or how to get where I wanted to be. I just knew I wanted it so dammit I was doing it.

I knew I wanted to use everything I had learned to heal and recover in my own mind and body and share it with the women in my community. I knew I wanted to empower women to live with their beautiful bodies rather than live against them as society taught us.

I knew I wanted to lead the charge on ending generational bullshit we have all been carrying on our shoulders and I knew I wanted to call an end to it before we delivered this weight to the generations that come after us.

I never knew how I’d do it, I just kept showing up.

Early on in this past year, a mentor told me not to call my business my baby. She said, “Could you ever sell your baby?” Well of course not, I said. So from that point forward, I viewed my business as my art.

Both art and babies are created, aren’t they?

Rooting For You is my art that I have lovingly and vulnerably displayed to the world for the past year and truth be told, most days it felt like I was completely naked in a crowd of thousands just waiting on someone to tell me I had nice boobs.

I know, what an analogy.

My art, she is beautiful and she is powerful and every day she grows and evolves into something bigger and better than I ever dreamt of, I grow and evolve too.

Advice for the woman in business:

  • Heal the relationship with your body. This will play out tenfold in your business.

  • Become playfully curious about both your triggers and your fears. They will play out tenfold in your business.

  • Heal the relationship you have with other women. You will need them just like they will need you.

  • Take a break, rest, and fall down if you have to. Always Stand back up.

  • Work with a coach. If you feel like you’re white-knuckling it, that’s your cue that you need support. Go get it.

  • Don’t ever give up, that dream was planted in your heart on divine purpose. You have a gift to share and girl you better go share it.

  • Break the mother fuckin’ mold

I’m rooting for you always.
