Find your medicine
My medicine may look different from your medicine, and that is okay.
My medicine today is doing absolutely nothing while my medicine yesterday was yoga, friend, and family time.
My medicine on average looks a lot like sitting in nature, belly laughs, EFT tapping, journaling, and eating veggies.
Sometimes it takes leaning into things you’ve never done before to find what really soothes your soul.
Maybe it’s because I’ve been hyper-focused on grief that it seems to be all over. Perhaps it’s because so many are actually grieving and we have finally reached a place in society where it’s safe to share in it?
Either way, there is one thing I know for sure.
If your heart hurts, find your medicine.
If your brain feels like a chaotic place, find your medicine.
If your body is calling out for support, find your medicine.
Tomorrow, I will be teaching a community class on moving through grief. It is my intention that this class will deliver medicine to all who attend.
Teaching is medicine for me.
