How easily do you ask for help?

Ever heard of companion planting?

Some plants ward off pests, some regenerate the earth and some aid in pollination. All in all, the purpose is so there will be a fruitful harvest.

I was speaking to someone the other day who was struggling to keep up with the demands of life. While also refusing to ask for help. When asked, why do you think you don’t feel comfortable asking for help? They responded “because I’ve never needed help before. So now that I do… I feel weak, and I feel like I should be able to do it all on my own.”

I hear you. Believe me, I hear you.

But - what if I tell you that asking for help is for productivity purposes? Asking for help is to ensure a fruitful harvest in your life. Asking for help has nothing to do with your ineptness and everything to do with your success.

If working alongside someone else can aid in your success, tell me, what do you have to lose? If asking for help will in turn lead you to a more productive life, do you still choose to continue struggling in isolation?
